The Pop Cult EX-perience
Cinematic Movie Moments (and the Importance of the Theatre Going Experience.)
Show Notes

One of our favourite filmmakers, Edgar Wright, has an article (we recommend you check out) in the upcoming March issue of @empiremagazine where he and multiple other Hollywood alum talk about THOSE cinematic moments, the moments that are enhanced by watching them unfold onscreen in a movie theatre. These are the moments that amaze, the ones that shock or scare, the ones that have you shifting toward the edge of your seat, and the ones that have you spilling out into the aisle with laughter. It’s about the deeply communal experience of going to the cinema, how powerfully that can add to your experience of a film, while also highlighting the work of the professionals that create that environment.
If you’ve been paying attention, you may have gathered by now that we love movies. It is possible that at some point we may have made reference to movies, and our love of said movies, and our love of watching said movies in the theatre. We have chatted for some time now about revealing some of the moments that blew us away, moments that would have had a lessened impact had they not been seen on the silver screen, so we decided that for this episode we’d reminisce about some of our favourites, and share with you our joys of the movie-going experience.

What are some of your most memorable movie moments and/or theatre going experiences? Are you looking forward to returning to the theatre when the movies do?
